It looked like it was all coming together for the Montreal Canadians. They finally started to get some wins, Price was having some solid outings, and Kovalev was getting back to his scoring ways.
And then Markov and Scheider went down to injury.
Now the Habs are struggling to hold on to their playoff lives. They currently sit three points ahead of the 9th place Florida Panthers with two games remaining. One of those games is tonight against their arch rival, the top seeded Boston Bruins. If the Habs can hold on, their is a good chance that these two teams will once again be hooking up in the first round.
Messages will be being sent tonight. We'll see if the Habs are up to the task.
I will be liveblogging the game on theScore.com and we'll be covering off all the other action tonight as well. CLICK HERE for a direct link.
Toodles.
